I have created this small space in cyberworld to keep everyone up to date on what is going on in my life. The title obviously draws its inspiration from my profession as an OB/GYN (props to my family for thinking of it) but encompasses so much more in life than just the labor of childbirth. There are so many things that I have loved to labor over through the years, and I can't wait to share them with all of you.

Breaking Ground
The long wait is over - they have finally broken ground on our first home!! Not much to see at this time but the dirt has been turned and the stakes are up. The plan is for 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 2 half baths, an open kitchen, morning room and family room, living room, dining room, study, finished basement and 3 car garage. We are so excited to finally have a place of our own (and a kitchen large enough to house all of my stuff). Here's a link to what the house should look like in the end (no stone on the front though - all brick)
