I finally met Cô Khuyen (that’s my daddy’s sister). She flew in from California on June 7th
and spent the weekend with me. Mommy had
to work and she was sad, but I still had a good time with Cô Khuyen. She played with me and fed me my bottle. She walked me around and told me
stories. She even sang me a nursery
rhyme in Vietnamese…
vỗ tay clap hands
vỗ tay clap hands
bà cho ăn bánh grandma will give you a cookie
vỗ tay clap hands
bà cho ăn bánh grandma will give you a cookie
không vỗ tay bà đánh trên đầu if you don't clap hands grandma will hit you on
the head
the head
That Saturday Cô Khuyen and Daddy took me into Pittsburgh to
go to the art festival. I was so excited to go that I couldn't contain myself.
We walked around and looked at a lot of pretty
paintings and then played on the grass.
Cô Khuyen is so funny – she made silly faces with my
face. I love her so much!
When we came home we had dinner with mommy. The next day Daddy had to take Cô Khuyen to
the airport. He was worried that we
would get stuck in traffic and I would cry too much so Mommy took me to work
with her. I got to play with all of the
nurses for 4 hours. Then Daddy came to
get me (but not before I got my milk from mommy). Mommy came home shortly after
we left and we all went to sleep.
Goodnight!
