Mommy and Daddy were both on call over Memorial Day Weekend but I didn't mind because I had lots of babysitters. Gammie, Grandpa, Grandma, Poppie and Aunt Morgan came to visit me and Ba Noi and Ong Noi. Gammie came with this crazy lion hat that my cousin Hudson also has. I don't know what she was thinking...
I wanted to take lots of pictures with Ba Noi and Ong Noi so that I can remember how special my month was this them. Who loves kisses from Ba Noi?? I DO!!!!
Can you believe that Ong Noi is smiling here? He never smiles in pictures. I think my big brother Mochi must have licked him on the face.
Lately I have had so much to say but nobody seems to understand what I'm saying (unless I wake up from my nap and start screaming - they all seem to understand MMIIILLLKKKK!). But Grandpa Jay knew exactly what I was trying to say. We had a long conversation about how tough it is being 2 months old.
He told me not to worry - eventually things will get easier and everyone will understand what I'm saying. And then he was just being silly and I couldn't help but smile and laugh at him.
I love you so much Grandpa Jay! Thanks for listening to me!
Alright - I would like to make a plea to the Paparazzi - would it be possible to take my bath in peace?
Apparently not - I was trying to enjoy myself but was growing more and more self conscious of the fact that every time I looked up there was someone else staring at my peep!
Was it really all that interesting? Good grief!!
I had to ask Ba Noi to keep me all covered up here so that the Paparazzi couldn't get a picture of my face.
Oh, okay fine. One more - but no autographs!!!
This was my last nighttime bottle with Ba Noi. I was too tired to cry to tell her how sad I was, but I think that she knew and felt the same way.
The next morning when I woke up, Aunt Morgan and Grandpa Jay were telling me jokes to cheer me up.
It worked!
But then I had to put on my serious face for a little while...
until Aunt Morgan started to tell me more jokes. She is soooo funny!
Here I am with my grandma and poppie. I was so happy that they came to visit me as well.
And once again I'm laughing and smiling...
but how could you resist smiling and laughing at this face?!?!?
I tried to tell Grandpa Jay some more stories, but I'm not so sure that he understood what I was saying...
But even if he didn't understand me I still love him so much!
We sang happy birthday to Poppie. He's 79 years old! I wonder how long it took him to get that old?
And before daddy took Ba Noi and Ong Noi to the airport to fly back to California we took some family pictures by the fireplace. This is one of my favorite pictures.Everyone was crying when Ba Noi and Ong Noi were leaving. I miss them so much and can't wait for them to visit me again. I hope that mommy and daddy took lots of notes.
Monday was Memorial Day. Mommy said that usually we would have a nice barbecue and sit outside on some patio furniture but since our house is still so new we didn't have any patio furniture. So here we were for our nice Memorial Day Barbeque...
Even my big brother Mochi liked the food (he got to eat macaroni and cheese - mommy and Aunt Morgan's favorite!)
Mommy said that she and Aunt Morgan had the best seats in the house.
I'm not so sure about that. I think that my seat was the best!
After the barbecue Gammie, Grandpa, Grandma, Poppie and Morgan loaded up the car and drove home to New York. Mommy got called in to work so Daddy and I took a nap and then went to Daddy's friend's house for another barbecue. Mommy says that when she works she helps to bring lots of little boys and girls into this world to be my friend. I can't wait to meet them. Before Daddy took me home for the night he took me to visit mommy at work...
And now it's just the 4 of us - Mommy, Daddy, Mochi and me!!
I'll let you know how it goes...
